25 April 2016: Saudi Arabia launches Vision 2030

On 25 April 2016, Saudi Arabia announced Vision 2030, a national plan led by HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to diversify the economy beyond oil, develop tourism, culture and sport, and open new opportunities for young Saudis. It has since driven giga-projects, reforms and major international events.
